Old and all emofied

Watched Girlfight, and fuck. I got so emotional and annoying and.. unbelievable. But Adrian loves her! He totally does! Gosh, the love story within the movie is amazing.

Or maybe it's just cos it's that time of the month? Well, whatever. I loved it.

So today, or rather yesterday, met up with Siti, Fatmah and Murny! Siti's sms telling me the change of venue woke me up! Like wth man. Technically, I was about 2 hours late. But they played pool while waiting for me, so it's fine. Heh.

Lunched at The Fish&Co Glasshouse (and I get reminded of shitty things just because). But lunch was good. :D Since the servings are effing huge, shared baked salmon with Fatmah. Had the mocktail thingy too which mmm.. has a really nice taste and after taste.

HAHAHA. I walked out with the December issue of Juice that was just lying there looking so dead on the coffee table thing. It was only when I walked out, that I realised I wasnt too sure whether it's free or not. LOL. The read's interesting, not really my kinda thing you know? But it's okay. Anything refreshing's a welcome.



The second pic, the fine print at the top left hand corner of the magazine reads "FREE EVERY MONTH" and in much finer print, below it reads "(like Paris Hilton)". So mean right! But funny.

Proceeded on to find the friggin Prinsep Street cos Siti has this idea that we could go to this place and be a kid all over again, lol. But it was fully booked till 6!!! Another time maybe. But it looked really fun!

So we ended up walking to some Paradiz Mall/place/shopping centre, I'm not too sure which, across the road. And OMGOSH, the road. We jaywalked the first time, and it was hell scary. *shivers* We werent even sure whether anyone was gna go.. it was a whole mess! Freaky shit.

Siti and I jaywalked back and it was so much better. I'm getting better at this jaywalking business, arent you proud? (See, I didnt wna climb up the overhead bridge, like the other two Mega Chickens, cos I was wearing heels)

We wanted to Kbox at first. But we didnt expect the price to be so.. high! HAHA. And till 7!? FIVE hours!? Not happening.

Settled for the TCC there and to just sit down and talk. You know you're getting old and funny when you enjoy sitting around, talking. Haha. Yummy Hawaiian Breeze!

So then I saw Kakak Idayu walking by! I scurried out and shouted out to her. She was looking damn garang when I saw her from inside! Talked for a bit and she went all old-fashioned on me, even though her figure is really amazing and she has two kids and behaves like such a teen! "Whoa, you and your friends very hip eh?" And I'm like "Hmm? Oh, just the usual.. *shrugs". HAHA.

She's too cute lah. Actually no. Ilhan's cuter.

So after talking over drinks for a while, we decided to have our own little photo session! (The few taken at TCC itself isnt counted cos Murny was just "experimenting" and it turns out she does have some talent!)

And we found this really great little place that the men working there abuse and do not know (at all) how to appreciate the beauty of it cos it's probably just a "smoking spot" for them. What a waste!

Or it's some hot make out place for the domestic helpers and their construction worker boyfriends. Okay, bad image. But this reminds me of that playground Najib and I were at the other time and the first thing he said when we were there was "*sniffs about* *pause* This place smells of sex." Like wtf, how'd you know that!?!? HAHA.

Of course the brain clicked, and it suddenly seemed so clear, lol!

Anyway, we found that pretty spot and a photo session, we had! It was mad fun lah.

Trying this angle, that angle, switching places, using the timer, placing the camera at different spots then setting the timer to see if it'll turn out nice, and Siti getting her hair all over the place trying to place the camera correctly, using my phone as "support", and us screaming about and going "OMGOSH. Look! There's a SUBWAY here!" and having to plan what we're gna scream out the next time someone goes down that escalator so we wont get "caught in the act" of extreme vanity and then plucking something random from the things we see around, resulting in mad shrieks of stupid girls taking stupid photos, with an ALIEN Siti and fake doll wannabes and such..

Oooh, dont you feel the love? Screw you if you dont! ;D

Oh and Murny was so cute! Cos she gave us these little sequinned pouches with a pair of earrings inside! It was such a surprisingly cute and touching gesture cos it was totally unexpected! I love surprises!!! :D

So after that, rushed back home cos my mum wants me to run this errand for her. It was in the house, changed to flip flops and out again with the brother in tow and a lot of yummy moolah not for me. ):

Cabbed to Katong Shopping Centre cos I was afraid the shop's gna close and then my mum would just shoot me. The fare sucked. But heng. We were the last customers! Got 3 sets of my brother's uniform and we headed on to Parkway for dinner.

The Katong area really reminded me of the Tembusu house we once had there. It was a freaky house that has freaky shit happening. Ahh. Memories.

Lunched at Banquet and it was quite nice! Cos I really looked around me. And whoa. Singapore has gone from mixed to DAMN rojak, can! It was like Angmoh and Malay family, Malay and Chinese family, Chinese and Indian family, Angmoh and Chinese...

It was so crazy! Haha. I love it. I mean I just never really realised how far we've come and all.. There were so many cute babies! There was this one (from the Malay/Chinese family behind us) who was so adorable! She responded so well to my smile and teeny wave! She got all excited and poked her father to look at me!

Love kids man. Even the Selma kind (Fatmah's cousin) who used to pick fights with me and get all sulky and then start to punch me when all I did was talk to her. But now she's cool with me now okay!! She tells me of the girl/boy world in school! (She's ten. Same school/age as my brother and she tells me juicy gossip! HAHA)

Mud was at Parkway too! But I didnt bump into him lah.

Omgosh. SEVENTY PERCENT OFF. Need. More. Money.

I'd like to go to the Expo thing and the Mount Faber thing and the VivoCity thing and the Marina thing and the Delphinus thing and the stay-at-home-and-stuff-yourself-silly-"I'm way too cool to be out there celebrating the lame ass new year" thing.

How? Split myself into six different Hudas with six different budgets? Oh wont the world will be in big trouble then. Grumpyness/bitchyness overload. Heh. But a thinner me, eh? Haha.

In other ME ME ME AND ALL ME news, I am catching a cold. Or have been catching the evil evil cold. Or a sneezing bug at least.

Also, the me-cleaning-up-crap-the-whole-day-long thing is officially over! YAY! I googled down the root of the cause; Koko being some smart assed cat who just hates the kitty litter and Kieffy being some senile old cat following her daughter's bad bad bad behaviour.

Now, Koko has converted to a kitty litter lover and Kieffy is back to her normal self! I love the internet, dont you? Just too bad I wasnt smart enough to do it earlier! Dufus Huda.

So now Mother loves me who loves them and wont mind me picking up strays? HAHAH. Too soon, woman!! (Talking to self, has GOT to stop)

OHOHOH! Turns out Cookie wasnt abandoned. It lost its way, then someone placed it in the box. My dad found out about it through the Bangla guy that sweeps our area. (He is unlike the others cos he is not rude and very humble and polite and nice, cos he helped us find homes for Kieffy's offsprings and doesnt look at me that way!)

So Cookie found its way back home. Good for him. But I didnt get to say good bye! ):

Pointy shoes, randoms; too much at one shot

Today was pretty good.

Was supposed to meet Shithead aka Huiyun only. But I was late, and our timings somehow clashed with Clara's and Renny's time to meet so it expanded from an outing for two to and outing for four! Which later grew to five when Shiang Nee joined us!

Went to Borders to look at pretty organizers.. I think I'd like to have one for the New Year. As in my own. Not the school kind neither the diary kind because.. Just because.

(Okay, my hair smells weird. Like it overdosed on hair products. Hello, I only use.. less than 5 and not all at one time, wtf.)

Then we decided to have lunch at Sakura so we made our way there. And I must say. Food was pretty damn good, considering the affordable price and all. Pineapple rice and beef cooked with dried chilli. And good ol' bandung.

So then Shiang Nee came and it somehow turned into a shoes shopping frenzy. :D Well for Lock and I at least. Renny, Shiang Nee and Huiyun got shit bored damn quickly. So Lock and I flew solo. The other 3 went down to get some Turkish ice cream meanwhile.

Because I have abnormally long and weird toes, it's incredibly fucking hard to find pointy shoes that doesnt reveal toe cleavage. At Far East at least! Sheesh. And I recall this other time, some dickhead tried to fool me. "Well, that is the trend nowadays.. You have to follow it.."

Wow, yeah I am that stupid. Besides, if the "trend" doesnt flatter you'll still follow?! Weirdo. After he said that, I gave the "Omg are you kidding me" look took off the shoes I was trying and left without a word. Feel that eyeroll, babe.

My feet. SUCKS. Problematic. Because they are too big with weird toes. And the display sizes are almost always not my size so then I'd have to ask for my size and then if I dont buy it I'll feel bad but it isnt my fault my size isnt on display!!!

Anyway, I ended up at the shop I got my white shoes from, and the salesgirl recognizes me! She was being really sweet so she gave me a discount for this cool-printed heels which are pretty gorgeous, thank you! :D

Met up with Lock who got TWO pairs for a cheaper price than my ONE pair. ): Then we met up with the other 3 and we headed to Wisma cos Huiyun likes Lock's birkies-ish slippers. The 3 left first, Huiyun got her pair of slippers..

OMGOSH. The Charles&Keith there was insane. It was crazy. Almost as bad as the Mng sales'. I think there are too little sales people, and too many customers. We had to sit and wait at the couch for EONS. And have THREE (or was it four) different people take the pair she wanted in her size!

This one salesgirl blatantly chose to look away, right after I caught her eye. Bitch. Well, karma is unbelievable. Cos like a minute later, she got cut in the storeroom by some metal thingy and she started to bleed. Dont mess with Karma, girl.

So yup. Haha. Realised we both kinda got the same thing. Plain top(s) from Forever21 and footwear! Snapshot's while waiting for the train..



MRT-ed home, and it was so cool. Cos I was home by 6. When I left the house at about 12+! Mother better not find out about my accidental shopping. =X She'll say that I've enough shoes and I shouldnt follow her thing about shoes back when she was young and I've enough clothes and I'm not working so why would I need so many!?

(I really do not agree with all she says except the fact that like her, I happen to think shoes are hot.)

Breakfast and Cookie

Breakfastttttt. Recall the 7AM meet up in the previous post? Well. I got paranoid and agitated and hooked on the computer... which led to me not sleeping at all. Anyway, I figured that if I were to have about say.. 3 hours of sleep, I'd be all shit-faced and stuff. Image is everything. Haha. No, I dont really believe it. But there is some truth in it!

So cabbed down to Siglap and waited for the two of them, sitting there with the rain pouring, looking like quite the idiot, I imagine. Lol.

I finally saw Najib coming out of his main gate at about 7.45. I think. He was all shitfaced (like what I'd be had I slept those few hours instead)! Hahaha. And he insisted he bathed! Boys. They bathe and still look like they've not.

Anyway, while waiting for Mud (who took a gazillion days) , guess what we did? Teenyboppers in style, I tell you! We blasted Nsync's Tearin' Up My Heart which was in his phone, hahaha. It was fun. The rain started to cool off, and the skies brightened.. It was nice to sing along to Nsync! HAHAHA.

Mud arrived and he coudnt find the bag he got me, cos apparently, according to him, it's "buried under the heaps of clothes". I was highly anticipating it! ): Still is.

We ended up walking from Siglap all the friggin' way to Parkway!!! As usual, we had quite a hard time deciding where to go for breakfast. Somehow, we ended up at BK where the food was a nice change! I mean fast food breakfast for me is usually a die-die-Macs case. That, or hawker food when I do get my breakfast fix outside.

OH. After ordering the food, I wanted to go pee. So I went downstairs only to find some sign, saying I can't go in. So I went upstairs. Only to find the entrance to the ladies' blocked! I mean seriously. I had to walk a lot to get to the other toilet. At least they could you know, spice up their cleaning schedule a little? Sheesh.

Breakfast was goooooodd. (: Talked and laughed and the usual stuff. Good times after O's. :D Okay, I realised something. I tend to forget details. Like, I lack retension or something. As in, I forget the stuff that happens. Like funny conversations and stuff. Which equates to quite bad blogging right? Hahah. My gosh. Where do I get all these weird theories?! LOL.

So then Mud claims that "it's not breakfast without juice man". And somehow, we ended up inside Giant, taking a really long time to first decide, where the juice place is and secondly what juice we're gna buy and then which soda we're gna pick and.. You get the idea.

It's like. The Indecisive Threesome. God no! I mean Trio. EWW.

We got ourselves a bottle of apple juice, and two cans of soda water. We sat ouside the Hypermarket and mixed the two (Najib held on to his cup from Burger King) and drank/talked ourselves silly. :D Love these two.

Camwhored!!! HAHAHA. Used Mud's phone, and knowing him.. I've no idea when the pics will reach me!

After that, yup, went back home and wow. I totally knocked out.

Mother went nuts again and she gave it to me good. Word vomit. Make that poisonous word vomit. Ouch ouch double youch. I decided to really just shut up and let her go on and on and on.. Just one of those things parents do.. Sigh.

So at about 2 just now, my dad asked me to accompany him to go downstairs cos he was craving Macs or something (really, who craves The Donald dude?!). I spotted a pregnant female cat right outside 7-11, so I bent down to pet it. Then we continued on to Macs, bought the food, and then went back.

On our way back, I saw this super cute cat with a ginger coloured coat in a box on top of the fridge. I dont know how I missed it the first time.

It had on a blue collar and it looked really really scared and lost. Shit. It was fucking abandoned. I felt my heart squeeze. It squeezed so so hard.

I paused to pet the poor thing and my dad and I ended up conversing with one lady who works at the 7-11 there. She told us that the poor thing was wandering outside the store, obviously very much so intimidated by the pregnant stray.

I stroked the poor cat, it cant be more than 4 months old. It looks slightly younger than Koko. It took to me and put it's head on my hand. That was it. I went inside 7-11 and bought some milk for the kitty.

The lady was nice; she brought out a plastic cup to pour the milk on. It smelt the food I put on top of the fridge, and smelt about, obviously famished. I took out a fry and it actually ate it! Imagine that! A hungry enough cat, it doesnt mind eating potato!? It doesnt even have a trace of fish/chicken/meat.

I got so scared for it, I looked at my dad pleadingly and he went "Dont look at me, girl. Your mother's not gna be happy. Dont cari pasal (find fault) even more, she wasnt too happy with you today, remember."

After a lot of bargaining and begging and more more bargaining, he agreed to help me coax the Mother. The very very scary mother at that point.

Got home, gave my mum this really apologetic look and then you wouldn't guess what happened. I was too scared for the poor cat, and I knew that chances of my mum saying no was really high and all... felt my face scrunch up, heat up and then I was in tears. Actual tears!

How retarded right! It was like omg. I dont know. A moment for me. I just suddenly felt the cat's pain and misery and everything. I mean sheesh. How could you abandon your cat like that?! It's one thing if the cat's born stray; at least then it knew how to adapt to the mean mean world of dog eat dog, cat eat cat, fish eat fish world! (And that btw, was a quote from Big Fat Liar!)

But it's another thing altogther if you brought it into your home, petted it, gave it food, it's kitty litter, everything set out for it, AND THEN YOU LEAVE IT IN THE WILD!?!?! All pampered and not knowing how to get food for itself!? What more defend itself from other dominating stray cats around!

(Btw, cats are known to be quite dominating yknow. I mean, some really do bully others.)

Seriously. SPCA should be more aggressive with this message if they want lesser calls about strays and all. And people should be more considerate and less stupid, damn it!

My mum of course panicked at the sight of me really almost bawling my eyes out at this time, asked "What!? What happened?! *looks at my dad"

So I told her the poor cat's tale and she shook her head in the "Typical. This is just so typical" kinda way. But still sympathetic, yknow?

I rushed down, brought the poor thing up to my house fed it with cat biscuits and man. It was really hungry! Sigh. But my mum said it has to spend the night outside. Well, it didnt click well with Kieffy and Koko anyway, so..

I sat outside with it for a while till it seemed fine.. After being curious smelling the place about, it settled down on the wooden bench I have outside and curled against the wall. I took out an old towel for it to lie on, so hopefully that'd keep it warm.

I've decided to name it Cookie. At first it was Ginger, then I realised it has balls, and the name's far too feminine.. So Cookie it is. I doubt I'll be able to keep it.. But at least it's not starving anymore. (:

So you fuckers out there. Seriously. You cannot just abandon your pets! Can you picture it? They're so accustomed to the life of a pet, and you just chuck it out, in the cold rain!?!?!? Assholes!

Okay, my parents walked out the door at about 2.45 just now. Yeah. In the AM.

So I was on the phone and suddenly my mum opened her bedroom door all dressed with an ultra (when I say ultra, I mean ultraaa) goofy smile on her face. Followed by my dad. I think I caught a whiff of cologne?

Man oh man. Things are so weird. That should've been me. As in going out. Not the goofy smile and cologne part.

Anyway, I think I cant make it on time tmr. I mean really. What was I thinking!? SEVEN o'clock?! WHO was I kidding!!! But no. I shall try my best. I will be early. Omgosh, I live in Tampines. Nuts. It's times like this I absolutely hate the far east. ):

In other news, I am hooked. Yknow I feel like a geek cos now I can stay hours on the com doing god knows what at god knows what time for god knows what reason.

Insane, no shit

I really cannot believe it's Frank Atwood. Whoa. Ryan's dad!?!?!?!?!? And Ryan and Taylor are too cute, please. I think Autumn Reeser and Willa Holland are great additions to The OC. :D

And hahahahahahahahahaha. I had that deja vu thing, like Sandy, cos the dude's the Hercules guy! I used to dig those kinda "ancient" shows. Hercules and Zena the warrior princess were my thing. HAHA. And I do not like The Beastmaster. Who gives? Lol.

Okay, I know. Too much TV-speak.

So on Friday! It was um. "4C's Christmas Party". I'm nice, so no comments. Okay, maybe a few. The food was fab at Andrea's though. It was goooood. And the decor was really pretty too.

I thought the whole Lilin-wanting-to-buy-wine-as-a-gift-but-cant-cos-there's-an-age-limit thing was rather funny. She ended up buying sparkling juice, hahah.

After that, it was a weird combi, I've to admit, but Renny, Clara and I ended up going to VivoCity to catch The Holiday!!! It was quite an impromptu thing. We were talking about movies, and rom-coms I think.. One thing led to another.. so..

Omgosh, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet!!! And heck. Jude Law... *swoons* I realise Jack Black's characters are all.. I dont know. They're just really similar to one another. *shrugs*

We caught the 10.30 show and it turns out Renny and I are quite the softies. Cos we kinda cried? Hahah. I cant help it. Rom-coms are the thing, I tell you. I just love it okay. And I was rather surprised the show's quite long! Clara kept on bugging me throughout the show complaining she was bored and what not. *rolls eyes*

After that, I cabbed home and it was not a funny $24+. The 50% addition is completely unnecessary. Cabbies are getting way too rude. And funny-smelling. But the one I got that day was nice. Anw, thank god for Lock's 20 bucks loan. That pretty much sums up Friday. And um. 2 hours of Saturday?

My family. is. going. nuts. And it's driving me insane!!!!!!!!! Like wth, seriously. My brother's being a pain. And sheesh. My mum's mouth is just rattling like.. Like a friggin' rattle snake or whatever! (The mind does not have space to think of proper comparisons!) And is there a hyfen/hifen/hy whatever seriously, in that word/animal?! Or a space?!

Argh. Them being all nuts-y is making me go nuts. This is absolutely strange, but my dad's the only other sane one around. Even Kieffy's going mad. She's all old and horny! Do cats menopause?! Obviously not, since they dont get their period right. But a lowering in her sex drive would definitely do some good. It's just a matter of time before neighbours start complaining about her late night booty cat calls. Sigh.

Okay Huda, just breathe, shut the study room door, call Koko to jump on your lap, get comfortable and watch youtube like never before..

I goes nocturnal

So okay, I've been up since.. forever. Didnt sleep at all. I just cant get to it. Maybe it's the work schedule that's fucking up my bodyclock. Oh well. Brother woke up at about 7 and he went down to get some good ol' Macs for breakfast.

It was so cold the whole night long!! No aircon, no fan. Just had the balcony window opened. Cold weather! The rain's quite a bitch (as in water splattering all over? Not good.). But I definitely do not miss the heat.

I'm growing to like having a blanket constantly wrapped around me as I move about from the kitchen to the room to the computer room. It's warm and cosy. No harm having that trail of blanket follow you around!

It is quite nice to be awake to see the sun come up and all. I mean, the view from my house is nothing close to spectacular. But hey, it does feel pretty good to be there to see the sun rise and shine! Haha. I sound so.. I dont know. Like some nature lovin' hippie. Peace and love people! Hahah.


Hur hur. Last night had a nice little chat with this ultimate weirdo (kidding) till 3 plus and then I hit youtube and couldnt get out till about 5 minutes ago when I realised that my back is kinda aching from sitting up the whole night long. Or curling in with the pillow and blankie watching OC on the huge black office-ish chair which I think attracts mosquitoes! Buzz off you blood suckers!

OC lovin'! Woohoo. (Without Marissa Cooper but Kaitlin's too cool to refuse!) Yummy season 4. Marissa's kinda missed although her character does tend to get same-old-same-old-shut-up-you-poor-little-rich-girl-ish, no?

Retail therapy

Ytd was rocking good. :D It was crazy shopping with the first/most expensive purchase not for me!!! Hahah. I had to rush down to town like mad to get there before her to get her present! I hope you love it! Well, you better, it wasnt cheap! HAHA. That is for all the times I couldnt spend your birthday with you, hence the no-proper-celebration habit! Happy very belated sweet sixteenth Niz!

Haha she gave me "part one" of my birthday present too! A funky chunky red belt! Okay I've a confession. When she told me she got my "part one" already on the phone some nights ago, I panicked, which explains the most part of paragraph one! Lol. I've to at least give hers the same day she gives me mine!

Met Niz at Orchard, went to the far north (is it? lol) of town past Shaw to some building near Hard Rock Cafe to drop off her Haagen Dazs uniform. Then we went to some crazily ulufied building to eat kway teow goreng! It has this really homey feeling about it. Nice.

I got so excited the whole time we went to drop off her uniform and during lunch! Till the food pretty much lost its taste cos I was so itching to get myself some of them great clothes! Lol.

I got my first top inside Forum (which is full of never-never-go-there-unless-you've-got-a-couple-of-hundreds-on-you shops). But I knew there was an Esprit there.. Trust me, I dont have that kinda cash. So I got my first top within 5 minutes when I entered the shop.

Then we proceeded on to shop shop shop! Oooh I love. Got myself a grand total of 5 tops! :D Busted quite a bit of money including her gift! But hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Mango's having their year end sale (Lee and I wanted to go in the Vivo one but they were closed and had the sign "preparation for year end sale" hung on the door!) so I went crazy inside Shaw. Not unlike all the women/girls there! We squeezed into one cubicle illegally! HAHA.

It was mad, seriously. Ugh. I wna go back for more! More more more!

So we walked about and browsed and bought and the whole process repeats itself till I was seriously money-less.

About three hours later, we were attacking Wisma. She had to buy her *coughs* birthday gift. Wah damn irritating can. Lol. And then. I was looking at the accessories at Forever21.. And was suddenly slapped damn hard on the back by some crazy cow who pretty much shouted "EHH HI BITCH!!!"

I was stunned man. Turned around and there stood Fairuz smiling damn bigly (pardon the English lah) the stupid way she usually does. -.-" With Bald. HAHAHA. I am so funny and witty.

Okay so then after that, we went to Bits&Pieces and Niz got the pendant engraved so yay! She had to meet her friend, Gina later on.. So after that she went off with her (say abandoned lah walau. Haha, kidding.) I flew solo man! Haha.

Far East-ed and I so wanted to get another pair of shoes.. But.. Aiyah.. Held on to they shoe-spirit, I did. Okay, got home and yeah yeah. A goody day shopping indeed! Definitely looking forward to more of this! :D And ooh. Class is having a Christmas Party!

Disturbing thoughts on the platter

So it's in the middle of the night and you happened to be looking through sites that just doesnt cease to spur all these uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. It's like -whoa. Are all these people for real?!

It sets you thinking. To say the least.

And then you start going crazy with all these thoughts bombarding your head. One after the other. Boom; the Nagasaki's gone. Boom, so's Hiroshima. The Big Japan in ya head.

And then you come across something that reminded you of Adam&Rachel's failed rship. SIGH. You're still so not over it. (disregarding completely the fact that you've no part in it whatsoever)

Nooooo. They are were perfect together. They are were like the younger Pitt&Jolie! Grow old together, make/adopt future Brilsons..The future winners of the Family of the Year by People magazine!!! SIGH.

I'll be random and peculiar here.

You know that ten things you'd say to someone meme/or whatever it's called? The one that I think originated from the livejournal community.

Well, firstly, I certainly have a lot to say to more than just ten people. Ten will do for now. Mostly bad, because well, bad things happen. And I don't have any qualms telling people the good stuff.

  2. Oh stop it already. It gets old way too fast. Eww you major try-hard.

Cheating machines

Thursday! Thursday! Thursday! Had a blast. Although no, we didnt end up going to Esplanade at all cos they were so "but it's a mat/minah place!" and lazy to walk! BUMS.

Met them at CityLink's 7-11 to top up the cashcard cos the initial plan was to catch a movie there. Mud was the first one there! He was pretty down about not making it through. Dont worry lah k, you will the next time round.

His new Ovation (did I get that right?) guitar was with him -long story- and I must admit. It is pretty darn sexy. Even though I'm not musically/arts inclined in any way yah, but I think I'd know a nice guitar when I see one! It's red too, like his other one. Nice lah, nice lah.

Then Najib came and they greeted each other with a hug!!!!!!!! Awww. Long story, but yeah. So cute. HAHA. I still rmb that night.

Just catch what you can cos I cant be bothered to explain. It was about 2 plus? I talked to Najib on the phone earlier on that night. Then Mud called to "settle stuff", hahah. Then Najib talked to Mud on MSN. And then Mud said "I love you man" cos they kinda had a fight and yeah. Kissing and making up, yo.

Then I sms-ed Najib "I love you too man" cos my god. These two! It was like trying to move a mountain to get them to initiate something! And then the reply I got was 'Nb. Both of you talking on the phone". HAHAH.

So we ended up topping up the cashcard, then not watching a movie cos it was too late (we met up far later than initial plan) and then deciding for ages what we're gna do and what snacks we're gna buy with the 12 bucks already in the Cashcard and stupid Polar didnt accept Cashcard and their puffs looked good. &^!%#

We were hovering at the drinks/chips area for like 15/20 minutes thinking. And then we realised that we should leave soon, else the blokes' gna think we're making plans to steal stuff! Paid for the cokes, chips, cookies and left! (Like what idiot would only think of the plan at the place itself!?)

We sat outside 7-11 like the Mats&Minah that we are (that was a freakin joke, ya) contemplating further. Aye. Two Librans together not too good. Najib was no help either! Lol.

Decided to head on to Suntec for a movie! On the way there, we heard True by Ryan Cabrera and that was just damn funny and coincidental! -long story-

Turns out the movie times were too late for Mud and urgh. We ended up sitting around in public places again. -.-" We sat outside the movie place, on the floor, eating our food with Mud playing the guitar. You can imagine how it looks right! So. I dont know. Haha.

We were kinda thinking that some security guard's gna chase us away and so we formulated a plan if that were to happen! Which it didnt of course, cos they had me there, and I'm damn lucky. Recall lucky fruit wallet? heh

We -okay Jib- tried to convince Mud's mum to push his curfew a bit later so we can catch a movie but yah. Effort was there okay. Najib called his mum, haha. But no. Failed. ):

So we continued to sit/stone/strum/talk there. It's damn omg lah. Like I dont know. I'm not used to "hanging out" like that! I mean, sit down, talk, drink coffee, that I can do. But this! Haha.

We then headed to the Kopitiam nearby cos no one wanted fast food (I suggested BK but they were all againts me lah that day omg! If looks could kill. Coulda killed them both. Grr.) The food sucked big time. No room for excuses! You wna make money, make it right lah walau. Some business you got there. *rolls eyes

I was rather miffed about it cos omg. We're eating, you know that activity that keeps people alive? ARGH. The tahu goreng's sauce was like shit. The nasi ayam sambal seemed basi. And bleh. Stupid place. NEVER GO THERE.

(WHY ISNT ANYBODY ONLINE?! Omg is everyone else out there having crazy fun. ): OR. No lah chey. This is probably it. They're all losers who "appear offline". Heh.)

Okay so yup. After that, we continued to sit there! Even when all the plates and stuff were cleared! Terrible right! Their idea, not mine.

So Mud took out his guitar again and strummed several songs. John Mayor, Natalie Imbruglia, Lifehouse.. He plays good! Go Muddos! Woohoo! You'll nail it the next time no worries! Hahah. You'll totally get it! And sheesh. I feel quite high. Cos we finally got that damn adapter and now with the broadband on this computer it's ridiculously fast. Ooohh. Loving it. :D

Anyways yes. We were bitching. And bitching. And bitching. And it was soooo good. HAHA.

Once, we saw a flying saucer!!! Aliens R Us. *Star Wars soundtrack plays* Really. Apparently, there was some Christmas Sale thing that sold toys and stuff. And it was a toy flying saucer thing. The boys sounded quite serious when Mud suggested they get it. Freakaye.

There was a 9.15 slot for The Holiday! But argh. Another long story. But yup. Najib was being the pain that he is. So we ended up catching the 9.30 slot for Eragon. God, I wasnt even interested in that movie please. *rolls eyes*

Mud went off, after we've ensured all's cool though. We were late for the movie! Anw it was my first time at that theatre. It's very.. red! Haha.

We settled down and he filled me in about the movie. Since he's all fantasy-books-lovin', he read the book before. It actually seemed quite interesting. The plot was not that bad. But dang! The movie kinda was? It's like. When he "briefed" me about it, I was thinking 'Wow. This is interesting. Not that bad eh." But nyeh. Disappointing lah.

It was good cookie munching and movie watching. Although we felt a bit sick, later. Cookie overload or something.

I love watching movies that end past 10.30ish. Cos then everything else will be closed and you get the whole mall to yourself! Sort of. And crap, again, that kinda reminds me of that which is -again- preferably boxed up and sent to Timbaktu asap. *gives annoyed look

But yes. Empty malls are lovely. I like how it seems cold and creepy and pretty darn dead. But you and your company kinda add life to it, yknow? Plus the indoor decor was pretty too..

What year was it? In which town was decorated with blue lights and those silver net things that kinda created a "dome" above the entire strech of Orchard Road? That was the best decor by far. 2002 was it? Damn. I cant remember.

Anyway, we were at the bridge, on the way to the bus stop and we saw the bottle vending machine. You know how guys do all the guy things they do which is wasting time, mucking about with their other guy friends, etc. Well, this time, it proved useful!

He did some fancy "macho" thing, failed the first time but it was a success the second time. It was quite troublesome. He had to run two towers to get the coins cos he was so determined to do it. He did this and that and then..


he managed to cheat the vending machine! HAHA. 3 bottles for the price of 2. HAHAH. 14ed/12ed back home and yup. The bus ride home (12) was quite funny/strange. Cos I had these weird thoughts that I swear is just the result of the lack of brain-usage these days. Ah, post O's have its consequences.

Mud just called to say he's at the airport and leaving already! Aiyah so fast. Well, see my red bag soon (hoepfully) and you too! Hahah.

EEEKS. I cannot stand it. You buncha try-hards. Get over yourselves please. Sheesh. *rolls eyes* Okay, yes yes yes. Lovely lovely pictures!

I put the fourth one there just so it'll be even. Haha. They were outside my house, I snapped it from my mum's room. It was after breakfast, with Niz too, at the Kopitiam downstairs (us and our Kopitiam's huh) And btw the one downstairs is far far better please. Omg, Niz where are you!? Sleepover soon lah walau. Been so long already! Imu lots. <3>

And it was also this day that my ego got bruised and I got pissed with Najib. HAHA. That must have been quite a show. Lol.

Speaking of shows. Just Friends on cable later! And wth. I watched it with Niz less than a month ago! What is the meaning of this!?

Yummy men in uniform

Today morning, I witnessed a fire. I was right there. Because of my dying need to blog about this, I'm gna be late meeting the boys later. Doing Esplanade baby! Before Mud leaves for Melbourne... Anyway yes. I was at work. (Yes, I finally got one) at SATS Cafe as a cashier which is easy job and not bad money. Heh. Seriously. How hard can pressing buttons be!?

(SATS is some cargo airport place thing so only people with a card can enter. Which is great cos it means I wont be bumping into any of you there!)

I was about to head home already, since I do the evening-night shift. The staff people exit by the lift at the back. This Chinese cook was "playing with fire". You know, Chinese restaurants and their humongo fire? Yes. Then he went to the sink and kinda left the fire as it is. Then the fire got bigger. AND HE PANICKED AND YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID! He put water on the wok. I mean sheesh. Oil on fire and you add water!? That just spells BIGGER FIRE.

But I dont blame him. I mean, I guess if I were in his shoes, the first thing that comes to mind would be water to put out the fire. So the fire just grew twice as big and it's like (trying to think of something visual to compare with)- Okay got it. The fire was about a metre high on the wok so it was really huge and threatening.

Then the aluminium foil thing at the top of the stove caught fire and drops of it were dripping. Yeah, the fire was that hot till it got melted almost instantaneously. I stood fixed there cos hey, this is good (scary) drama early in the morning. Also because the Kaypoh Auntie in me insisted so.

Not only did the aluminium foil thing caught fire, the dude got scared so he added more water! And then I could see the fire spreading at the top. You know those suction thing that links all the food stall's stove thing together. Okay, describing is hard. You know how some buildings.. I know! Prison break! You know how we're able to easily remove the ceiling? That thing caught on fire and within seconds it spread to the other stalls and then suddenly I heard this Makcik shouting about how the aluminium thing is dripping on their sink.

Damn drama, I know. It was like right out of a movie man.

Then the Indian cook from the stall at the other end came to the rescue and he was really all hero-ish. He jumped up and used some kitchen utensil thing to hit the aluminium thing to the floor. Yes the thing was on fire. Damn brave right. I must say I'm impressed by his proactive-ness.

Then the security guards in the building arrived and got out the fire extinguisher. They switched off the lights so it'd be easy to spot the fire. Eh I helped okay. After they sprayed several times, the thing above the stove was still on fire. But the fire was visible only for like a fraction of a second. And the guy missed it. So I went "OMG OMG OMG uncle! There's still fire! THERE! Omg hurry hurry HURRY!!!"

Then one guard was talking on his walky talky and mentioned something about how the firemen are on their way. And I blurted out (tactlessly, shit I know) "Huh. You mean they're not here yet!? That's slow." Stupid right. Like they're trying their best there. Stupid mouth.

But I doubt the guard heard me. I mean yeah, in the midst of the chaos you'd totally be paying attention to your audience. (Audience was really small actually. Only "exclusive" staff got to see it.)

So we all got shooed out to the canteen area where it was filled completely with smoke! Throat, eyes and nose very itchy, yo. So I sat down wondering how am I going to leave the building considering the "staff lift" is inside and all..

And then the firemen came. Omg. They were so hot lah please. I mean, I like the idea of men in uniform (except no, never in the context as an NPCC cadet cos then it'd mean that they are of some rank one way or another and um. Yah. You simply wont visualise the image as hot in any way. Of course there are exceptions still..). I just didnt expect them to be so whoa. I mean they entered the cafeteria all serious looking with all that gear and the built.. and. Wow. I was one happy girl. (;

With the right guy in uniform, it's pretty darn sexy! Dont disagree lah. You lose, I win.

And btw, by hot, I mean Aaron Aziz/Allan Wu kinda looking people which I think is quite a lot to ask for local men. It was all good. But I didnt get to see them in action! Cos we were shooed out of the kitchen already.

We were told that we could use the lift used by the SATS staff. At the ground floor, when I got out, I was greeted by a sight of another guy in uniform. HAHAH. I'm sucha lucky girl. This time, it was a policeman. Hehehe. He was all serious too which just upped the appeal, thank you.

Oh did you know that there's this AES (Airport Emergency Service) group of people who, yeah, cater to emergencies at the airport?

Okay so yes. That's basically my experience. Now I need to bathe and get out asap. Die. Not gna make it. Darn.

(Happily) alone together

A quick (it never will be haha) run through of the week's events!

Last Tuesday, met up with Mel extremely early in town to catch Happy Feet. Yes, I know. How loser. But it turned out to be quite cute though terribly boring. The cast was surprisingly not bad too! Nicole Kidman, hello.

After that, we browsed around at Far East cos she wanted to get a pair of black flats for her work which apparently requires black shoes, not unlike many departmental stores. Got her flats and while browsing around, I just happened to come across this pair of round toed heels. I was so torn between getting it in red or white. White won cos both the salesgirl (who was really very nice to us) and Mel voted so. But hey, no regrets so all's cool. Hello new shoes!

After that, she went off for work at Taka while I walked about town. Went to Cine's basement to go to the toilet and guess who I met! Lock and Beatrice! Haha. They're working at some booth there.

I went back home. And out again later in the evening. I brought my brother along so there! A great sister indeed thank you. *takes a bow

Najib made a deal with us. If we could be at Siglap by 6.40, he'd give us not one but two slices of cakes from his work place, Secret Receipe. We werent on time. Or rather I wasnt? HAHA. Since Hakiem was ready way way before I was. Hey, I had to bathe!

Because of that we couldnt get the cakes! Asshole. Stayed put at Starbucks for a while and then! Starting to really like thier toffee nut latte thing. What happens after the holiday season! No more of the Christmas Specials then? ):

We decided to head for the beach spontaneously. And I really do mean spontaneously. See, my brother couldnt understand the meaning of "lepaking" (lol) so he was really on the verge of tearing his hair out from Boredom. "Beach" slipped my lips and he was so on about it... So yeah. To the beach it was.

The walk there it those new heels (I just couldnt wait to wear them, cut me some slack!) killed me within 10 minutes so I continued barefooted henchforth. It did feel quite rejuvenating to go all bare (feet wise)! Najib was saying how my saying that reminded him of Krishna. -.- Sheesh. The dude's dead in my books dude.

We stopped by at the Ski 360 place cos Hakiem had to pee badly. Continued walking on till we got to the beach beach. By that meaning yeah, the sand, water, breeze. Oh yeah and groups of people flirting with each other. LOL.

Just sitting there soaking in everything, it really was quite soothing, as cliche as it sounds. The brother was just really minding his own business making a -what was it?- sink I think, by making a hole in the sand..

It just so happened that the night sky was pretty overwhelmingly pretty, hahah. But seriously. It was be-e-a-uteeeful. The moon was playing hide and seek with the clouds, giving off this creepily cool mysterious aura. Plus, it was tinged slightly red. The stars were (very) few but everything else more or less made up for it. And now I know how to spot Orion in the sky! I wonder if it's possible to see Delphinus up there.. hmm..

The lighted ships, the many planes flying by, the breeze. The cats! HAHA. There were plenty of them (as usual) but they were all to scared when I approached them! That or my "cat-lover smell" according to Daddy Dearest, wasnt as strong that night.

The planes made us think of going away.. to somewhere nice and far. To just drop it all and leave. We're all allowed to want to abandon all reason every once in a while, aren't we? It's not like we dont do it unintentionally anyway. So what's the difference to want the same thing not sub consciously?

Okay, my stupid computer died on me. Thank god I saved till here. Damn. I wrote a lot a lot more. I'll try to summarise. (By that, it meansa I'll keep it in mind, but it'll never happen) Sigh.

Najib and I were basically in a very strange mood. Depressed? Haha. Miserable? But comforting still. Go figure. Let's just say we talked about stuff and questioned and got pissed off and miserable and.. hahah. But it was still good, as weird as it may sound.

I mean, yeah. It did remind me about that incident which seriously is better off boxed away right to the back of my mind. I just hated (hated hated hated) the way it all turned out. I mean damn it. It really wasnt very nice. But I guess the good still overpowered the bad? We all try to think that way anyway.

After that, we walked all the way back to Siglap which felt real fast though it wasnt! (Spice Girls' on radio! Omg. How Primary 2 is that!) We dropped by Mas-Ayu for supper. My dad makes better Nasi Pattaya man. Lol. There was also this incredibly humongous cat that stole my heart for like several seconds before my loyalty to the cats back home hit me, hahah.

Took a bus back home and I'd say it was a good night. (:

Thursday and Friday seemed to melt into one another cos I basically did the same things so nothing much there.

Saturday was Lime Sonic Bang 2006! Though we werent exactly present throughout the whole show.. Going to a flea market with a guy is not advisable man. Najib was bored as hell. There were some pretty handmade jewellery that I swear I saw "$3" on the price tag but it actually was "$18". So much for perfect eyesight! The mind has other ideas..

It got boring so we decided to catch a movie! There was this seriously huge ass poster for Trust the Man, the cast (Julianne Moore, Maggie Gyllenhaal; wtvr the spellng, the XFiles guy) seems great so why not! Besides I'm up for a rom-com any day. Hahah, Toby is a freaking funny character. Actually so's Tom.

I found the audience to be quite strange. It's like, they didnt get the humour. I'm not saying that in a I'm-damn-smart-I-got-it-they're-stupid-they-didnt way, really. Maybe they're all mature enough to just smile instead of laugh? Omg, do we tend to forget to laugh as we age!? Cos the crowd was rather, old. Hmm. But at least the guy beside me knew how to! He laughs loud, haha. Not that I dont. But his is the really loud booming guy kinda way.

Anyway, it wasnt like any other romantic comedy. It's slightly different. For better. The plot has more depth, definitely. It's a good one to catch, yes. Then again I'm not all that critical when it comes to movies.. so..

After the movie, dropped by Cheers cos it hurts man, unfortunately. ): But hey, everything comes with a price.. I mean seriously the plasters were whoa. Not cheap. Bumped into Levan there and it got rather awkward/embarrassing when he asked how was the show cos well.. ya, I wasnt exactly present, was I! Hahah.

We stayed a bit for the last part of the show cos hey! Hady Mirza will be singing, yo! :D He sings good live, AS USUAL. Which reminds me! The Jan issue of Cleo! Hady and Mahal (some Cleo covergirl winner) sounds so cute in the interview, with the subtle (okay maybe not so) flirting! And hmm. The 2007 calender.. I expected more man. Eye candy no have. ): Not really anyway. October guy so isnt lah omg.

Okay, so then we realised that we were two hungry people. AND THERE WAS NO FOOD IN TOWN. Alright, so there was fast food, and "atas" food, and unhalal food. But we werent in the mood, were broke unfortunately, and very halal thank you, respectively. And fine. It was quite late.

We walked pass Paragon and there was this really interesting band playing! They were mostly caucasion and quite um old, dressed up as Red Indians. But the music was good, my father's taste totally. Oh! The streets! I've not talked abt the Christmas decor! The first time saw it, was during my "birthday" with the Opera people. But really. It's pretty! And that rhymes! Just like chimes! (smack me, sorry lol)



No Ayam Penyet when I started to crave it cos he mentioned it! I had no idea Lucky Plaza was so The Phillipines man. (That was not meant to sound derogatory in any way okay)

When all else fails, head for a 24Hr coffeeshop. So we took 14 all the way to Mas-Ayu again! Haha. Supper is very bad but nyeh whatever lah huh. Let's heck it once in a while.

Yup, sat on the curb for a while waiting for my bus and he was telling me how we could get into trouble if a police car passes by. I went "wth, are you serious". And then realised that I did know about it. Stupid. But we were near the bus stop and all.. And his brother drove pass! Haha. Yup, that's about it. Another good night, yay. (:

Then! Sunday! (I know this entry's another killer and I know I've to update more regularly to prevent such entries!) Family had dinner at the Chai Chee restaurant and whaddya know! Primary school senior took our order! HAHA. Eh his dad owns it, dont main main!

I think I kinda embarrassed myself when I went "Omg. Are you -?!" and then he said "Yah", I think he was quite stunned cos it was pretty sudden. Then I went "From Opera Estate Primary!?" (Like duh, I dont even know why I asked that) And he confirmed it. HAHA.

My mum was being irritating when he left!

On to today! Did VivoCity with Clara (Lee)! My first time there, don snort asshole. It's really quite overated. I mean, with all that hype, I kinda expected more. Anyway, we caught Deja Vu and it is a fantastic movie, really! It is a good mix of action, thriller, romance, humour.. all rolled into one! Somehow, Denzel Washington always acts as a cop! This is a must-catch most definitely.

So then it was leapord prints, browsing, shoes, toe cleavage, browsing, buying, walking, weird service, browsing, more leopard prints, cool shades, overhogging the shades area (first to come, last to leave), camwhoring, etc..

The fourth picture was the result of me saying "stupid!" and she heard "sweet!", lol.

I'm lovin' it!

I love shoes. You?

Yeah, so I've been a terrible blogger updating extremely irregularly and all. But what can I say? I've been having too much fun it's either the television's more interesting or I'm dead tired - too tired to blog. And you know what, it's perfectly alright. :D

So yes, tons of events to talk about here since the last update. Of course the big 'P'!!! PROM NIGHT! It was a blast. If only the "dancing hours" were longer, cos that was a lot of fun and people generally went that tad bit insane. Loved it.

Prom preparations that day was chaotic! Haha. Early in the morning, Nuzie, Siti and I wanted to get our nails done but darn it. The place was fully booked. So we went to Bugis which hasnt even opened yet! So instead we ended up playing scissors paper stone the split one and mucked about on the second level of Bugis.

So I went home cos my mum was altering my dress cos I decided I didnt like it floor length. Hahah. Then I packed up everything, dropped by Watsons to get this make up set thing completely on impulse. Hey, it was a good buy!

Then I cabbed my way to Nuzie's. And it was raining! Omg. It added on to the dramatic effect of going against time and all! Haha.

The 3 of us were taking our own sweet time getting ready and before we knew it, it was already 4! And no make up done, no hair done, nothing on! I mean, we've not worn our dresses yet or have it ironed! Man, it was chaotic. Haha.

Then Shaggy cabbed over cos apparently she doesnt know how to put on mascara! How funny is that! The fact that she cabbed all the way to Nuzie's because of that!

Met the girls' guys at Nuzie's bus stop there and HAHAHA. Funny shit. *plays Majulah Singapura* (insides)

After photos were taken, we took two cabs to get to school. Everyone looked pretty much damn good, I must say! And and and! Instead of getting that dress I so badly wanted -turns out it wasn't that badly-, I got a cheaper one AND another pair of shoes! Which was brilliant of me. Two pairs in four days. Yummy. I like.

When my table (4c) forced me to go up on stage for that thing, it was yeah, embarrassing. But who cares. All in the name of fun yup? I'm sorry I suck at blowing bubbles! Ms Ng was going "Complete this sentence and send one representative up from your class! The biggest..." Yah okay fine. I went up for (like you couldnt guess it already) my boobs. There happy! Crap lah 4C.

But from the looks of it, every other class seemed to send up people for the same reason! Haha. Sophia and I were grumbling on stage.

When I went up, Ms Ng gave me the knowing look and I was like "Yah, kinda obvious why I was sent up yeah?". She laughed and said "Yes, I see.." Then after the blowing bubbles session, she said to the class of 2006 "Girls, what were you thinking ah! This is still a school"... LOL.

Dirah had "red hawt" stamped all over her body on stage that night for the title of Mambo Queen! We all know the reason she didnt win was cos the teachers just really cant handle a wild child. You were great babe. Hot stuff.

Besides, everyone (classmates from the other table joined us at the back to OOH and AHH at her talent) agreed that if we were guys our little guys would be standing straight up watching her! We were all going "Omg. That's damn hot. Omg. She's good" etc..

And Miss Cedar was won by Achala! No sweat Diana. (: She too was great on stage with her LRD (little red dress) strutting her stuff!

Okay, prom was prom? Hahah. My hair remained obedient for only a couple of hours before it went mad. But well -shrugs- that's curly unmanageable hair for ya.

The later part got exhausting pretty quickly!

"OMG. I'm so hot! I'm damn tired! DAMN TIRED! " and then we'd continue dancing. LOL. Heels were kicked aside and woohoo!

Oh yeah! Dirah and I noticed something about someone that's got to be shit embarrassing! HAHA. Well, guys will be guys, no matter the rank, no matter the place. If it's hot, it's up. (;

Post prom was a night over at Nuzie's. That kicked ass too! Several spooky incidents! I still find it incredible how I'm still able to call them "assholes" in my sleep. So we tried watching The Davini Code downstairs, but failed miserably.

Up in her room, it was the four of us, J, Siti (sorry, I just cannot call her Irah) Nuzie and I, squashed shoulder to shoulder, butt to butt on her queen size bed. I was pretty much on the wooden thingy most of the time!

And, the "scary incidents" happened with J and Irah in between me and Nuzie who were the ones scaring them -get this- in our sleep! Hilarious stuff.

The next day, we were lazy bums taking hours just to get up proper. Meaning we were awake but not wanting to get up, just laying there. Lol. Siti and I were seriously mucking about throwing whatever soft things we could find at each other. I almost missed her for the nail polish! Thank god I missed it too! Imagine the mess!

In between all that mucking about, she kicked my chin up, and trust me, I've zero idea how it got to that, and my lip started to bleed!

Okay fast forward. And. Okay, I totally forgot the flow of events. I remember meeting up with Mel for Casino Royale one night... and omg yes!

Haha. On the 25th of November, a month and five days after my birthday, the OE people met up for to celebrate my turning 16! Yay.

It was dinner at Breeks where the bill part was funny.

Me : "So that means.. Eh? Why do I get back 7 bucks?"
Mud: "No, you get back this" *places 22.50 in front of me*

A birthday dinner treat get it! Haha. So then, Mud and Najib got me a white New Balance sweater that's really comfy! The way they gave it to me was omfg hilarious. I am WOLS. Sort of. Sometimes.

Took a bus back to Mud's. We camwhored like crazy in the bus! Weehah. It just felt good to be with the guys. (and that chick. haha)

So we dropped off at Siglap to rent movies, headed over to Mud's and watched Loser! Yay. I love the soundtracks! Give it to me baybeh! Uh huh! Uh huh!

His dad DA MP came home and I freaked out. LOL. Yes precisely! Me? Scared? Hahah. I dont know lah. I just think he is really intimidating!!! =X

They kept on switching back to some football game on and O-M-G, it was hell irritating. BUTT. Since it was 3 to 1, decided to shut it, and dealt with it, I did. SIGH.

We rented two movies but only managed to catch one. There's the whole of the holidays for more movie time man. (:

Cabbed home with Najib and yes! The end of my lovely "birthday"! It was simply great. (: Pics are still with Mariam so maybe another day. (Just cant count on her to send it to me asap!)

Oh yeah! The day before prom, which is the 21st right, the bunch of us went to the Night Safari! Five being Najib (who got the free tix from his sister who got it from her friend), Mud, Mar, Me and Hakiem aka The Brother.

I had tons of fun since it is mine's and Najib's and Mud's virgin trip there! I know. What terrible Singaporeans. I felt like a kid again man, gaping at all those animals! They were all so cute! I wouldnt mind working there for a while just to experience it. Hello? Tourists galore! Make that (hot) tourists galore! More on this later!

We toook the MRT and a bus to get there. And then it started to bloody rain! I mean it stopped lah after we got there. But still! We were pretty famished, so we were thinking of dinner before we check the animals out (lol). But it is the zoo, and it is a weekday. So the fast food restaurants were closed! Made do with Bongo Burgers and since the brother wanted B&J's, had that for dessert.

So we were at the bat place, it's in some cage thingy. We really just walked anyhowly without even really knowing what we're supposed see. So then Mud saw some sign I'm guessing that says there's supposed to be bats in there. So he went "EH where got bats man in here!?"

Najib keenly observed the place and OMFG. He spotted THREE bloody big ones hanging upside down! And we all walked right under one huge ass bat. We were spooked. Haha. But I find bats intriguing! Dont you? I mean when I see one flying by in like Siglap or something I'd be really amused. Weird as charged. Sigh.

Anyway, recall (hot) tourists galore? Well, after the pram ride, we went for the Creatures of the Night show. And nyeheheh. Well, in the first place I think on a weekday night, the only Singaporeans you'd find in the zoo are those regular families with free tickets and that's rare or whacked teenagers who lack the proper childhood with free tickets still. HAHA. The rest would be tourists!

There was once, the host needed a volunteer. "A strong macho man" to quote him. And very sportingly (and rightly so) this Caucasion guy raised his hand. (Hubba hubba) Mar and I turned to each other, her eyes were gleaming, mind probably too. "He's hot"s were exchanged. HAHA.

Well, his name is Andy and he is from England. Oh you sexy English men! DUH we went up to him, introduced ourselves confidently and got to know him pretty damn well thank you! I mean, hell no, it wasnt a case of him merely mentioning those details cos the host asked him to introduce himself! Heh.

Well, a girl can dream.

After that we happened to be walking behind Andy from England and HAHAHA. Stupid sia. Okay nvm. Let's just not piece the words "giggly" and "girls" together..

The cab home was great! Cos there were fivce of us and obviously that'd be a problem.. From Mandai leh. Taking public transport back just wouldnt be funny. There just so happened to be the very funkay seven seater cab waiting right there especially for us! The trip home was comfortable cos there was lots of room, and we got the very friendly and nice driver to tune to Class 95.. All the way from Mandai man.

On Monday, the week after prom (man the dates of the events are totally in no order!), met up with Idiotic Crae for coffee and lots of coffee shop talk, get it! Heh. It was great. Lots of laughter and we kept on switching places till we got the lovely (albeit dusty) purple sofas!

Talked about everything basically. Love it. And the shoes, oh heck them shoes! Great stuff. Too many shoes, too little money. ): I cannot wait till I've that kind of disposable cash in hand! Aldo was just pushing it I'm telling you. Gah. Annoying penniless situation of a teenager.

But it's okay! She's going to the States and if all goes well... Yeah baby. Come to mommy! :D Basically we spent half a day just sitting and talking. Love love love!

We took lots of photos and I deleted a lot too! Haha. She was so amused at how fast I could delete them fugly pictures! Even before she got a chance to see it, it's gone! It's a skill girl!



The next day was Annual Camp itself. Rachel and I came for the first two days and let's just say it was truly an experience indeed. A very enlightening one too. (:

Campfire, the second day saw The Lovely Hot Delphinus! Clara can so bend. She rocked at Limbo! HAHA. We got for Sir Tan a 2KG $70 cake. SIGH.

When we were going home, or rather when Sophia's dad was dropping a couple of us off while the rest were gna sleepover at her place, a whole lot of drama happened. Shhhh..

But anyway, I love those two days. For a lot of several reasons. (: Well, I think we got closer considering we spent a lot of time together. Her holiday= My shoes WHEE, I like.

NEXT UP we've the RED Camp and Ngee Ann Polytechnic! I was dead tired on Thursday morning due to the camp so decided to forgo the first day.

However the second day was really really great. :D So was the third. It really was a blast. I had tons of fun. Ew yuck. Decisions, you kinda suck. ):

The part where we got to know more about the Mass Comms course was really cool. We got to be in a studio, a real one like those we see on MTV! Like you know the start of Danity Kane's Showstopper vid? The part Diddy was all "Go straight home girls etc"? They showed the very cool looking studio? Yeah that. Hahah. I got so excited. Murny and Emily went in as the "talents"while Azy, Siti and myself poked several buttons.

Those two can sing okay. The 3 useless ones pressing buttons were pretty damn relieved we actually do happen to have singers amongst us! Imagine me singing!? Never happening babe.

I loved pressing that red button then saying smth on the mike over to the other two in the room! "Em sing louder!"

And the guy in charge of the whole thing was really nice. They're gna do whatever it is they do to make a track sound good and then they're gna send us! Woohoo. I cannot wait for it! (And wow, I'm not even the one singing!)

Murny got pushed to do the modelling part downstairs! Haha. She can what. So do lah! :D Nope, I had nothing to do with it.

When we were upstairs Siti and I missed Mark Zee! Yeah that hot ABC from Eye for a Guy! ARGH.

I was impressed by the School of Film and Media Studies (FMS). Heh so maybe I'm kind of biased. But wtheck.

So we were all gathered in this room for a particular skit by the FMS people. They asked for someone to say a few words about FMS, I got up blurted out a couple of things and won myself a ten dollar Starbucks voucher! I'm too cool. :D

There was this thingy one of the Science course tour thing. I had to eat a frozen biscuit and have coolio smoke come out from my nose! Hahah. Some experiment thing which was pretty cool I must say. But ew. Chemistry? I'll pass thanks.

So yeah the second night! Jam 'N' Hop was hot. It was like prom night all over again. But you know. With guys this time around. I'd say prom was better. There's something about an all girls environment that makes it so much more fun. I really am going to miss all the "Girl Power". Sigh.

But whatever the case, it was still great. There was this crazy girl that kept on dancing up with every other girl! Yes self included. Haha. It was crazy. At least I'm not the craziest! HAHAH. (Insides)

The bands part got annoyingly boring. So after some time the bunch of us sat by our bags waiting for something interesting to happen.

And then Levan walked past! Haha. It's amazing he still remembers me! Since that night! Chatted for a bit till they called him up onstage. Yes J, we remembered to pass your "hi". Met Mel too! Since they were going for a road trip to M'sia..

Murny and Azy left first. Then Siti and I left when the thing ended which was about.. 11. When we were walking out of NP, my ears felt blocked. It's like you knew if you were to talk loud enough to hear yourself, you'd be shouting. My legs felt like they'd give way at any time! Very very tired legs. We had to cross the overhead bridge so imagine the terror when we realised that!

Sat at the bus stop and examined my feet and ew. They were peeling at several places which is just disgusting. I was wearing flip flops btw, it can't get any more comfortable than that!

And man. The bus ride took forever. We seemed to be going everywhere! We passed by Vivocity! And Bugis! And Kallang and school... I only got home at one which meant the journey home was two whole hours. And that's including a cab ride home from Eunos thank you.

The next day, we had to do some (dumb) photo frame with this (stupid) LED light thing. The five of us were SO reluctant to do it. In fact we were complaining away to the ambassadors (they kind of ran the whole camp)!

But then. We were too good, really. LOL. Cos we managed to get Top 5 (in no random order please) and we each won a pair of free movie passes! Thank you thank you, very much, we know we're pro. Hah.

But yah. It does kinda look like primary school art like what Rach says. -.- Presenting our lovely hot tortise!


It was funny cos we didnt intend on making a tortise frame to start with. They said no simple squares or circles, so we decided on a semicircle. Then Emily asked "So how should we decorate it?" And I replied with a half hearted "I dont know. Um checks or something"

And then I think it was Murny that saw the future and said "Eh hey. It looks like a tortise!" And I believe that was the point all of us got excited about the photo frame with LED lights. Hah. So ta dah. The tortise frame is borned!

Next was some Robots IT thing, I was only half listening. There were students from overseas and all explaining to us with their thick accents which totally isnt their fault, we get it, but neither is it our fault we cant exactly understand!

It was really funny this one time. The guy was explaining how the robot was really smart cos it knew how to lift us the cans and place it somewhere else so it could continue to move. The uys were standing around the guy listening intently, watching the robot do whatever it is it was doing like they were hypnotised by it- the BEAUTY of it all. One of the guys was so mesmerized by it his muth was slightly open. Ew, ya I know.

The girls on the other hand (ambassadors included!) were on the other end not listening at all and instead digging around the food pack they distributed earlier on satisfying our rumbling stomachs!

But there were several cool things about that place lah. Like the switching on of the fan or anything by inserting our handphone numbers into the computer and some high tech thing. We'd get a message then somehow, the fan would switch on. *shrugs*

The grand finale was really rather grand! Haha. Hilarious! The guy acting as the girl was really really good and he was pretty hot himself! He wore this short tube stuffed with tissue paper at the boobs and a sarong. He wore make up too!

But it was nice. Cos see, he was wearing a short tube. On purpose I'll bet cos it just so happens that he has a great body. So his six pack was revealed in all its glory. Haha. A good view, if you know what I mean. (;

He was really sporting and cool about it. Really acted the part. He strutted down the steps with lips pouting and giving that seductive look! He really posed it the cameras! It was like he was directly flown in from Changi! Haha get it fly, Changi Airport? Okay retarded, my bad.

Anyway yes. The third day was rather sad actually. Cos we got to know several people and kind of grew attached to the whole place and all. Yes, as ridiculous as it may sound since it was just two days. We had good food (KFC, Yoshinoya, Ramenten, buffets), good vouchers, good fun! And hey the ambassadors weren't so bad themselves! They were fun interesting people and here's a few of them. (:


This here is Matthew, whose accent's just really darn appealing. I think this is a terrible shot though. Does him no justice. Heh.

Here's Cheryl who's really still sixteen! She's yet to turn 17 and she's bad with the food schedule cos she keeps telling us the wrong food suppliers for that meal that day! Haha. She's taking the Early Childhood course.

And finally this is Hazmi whose been of great help with the whole JC/Poly dilemma for me. And as unmanly as this may probably sound, this guy loves to take pictures. HAHA.

After that, we went to the arcade and ugh. Not Daytona again! I suck at it okay! I got really freaked out when the wheel started to spin by itself and then later being told by Siti that duh it will move by itself if I don't control it! Stupid game. Stupid stupid stupid. My phone's car racing game is so much better. (Cos I can actually play it and win!)

After that yah. Met up with several new people who were omg. Okay wont bitch. =X Looking at people playing pool was too tempting so Siti and I decided to play! Shit. We were the shit. We suck at it! So much for being so on about playing it! It was ridiculous. Because see, when I play it with the guys, they can actuaslly play so it doesnt make the poor table look so amatuerish. But us two girls? We suck and it's all in the name of luck! Boo.

Had dinner at Macs next door and things got funny. The new people were so. Sigh nvm. Let's just say that our two "societies" if you can call it that are really very very different. I think both parties got a rude shock! Haha.

I'm sure I missed out a lot of great incidents that happened but that will do for now. And! This is the THIRD time Barenaked is playing on radio today! Why is that!

Anyway, caught Open Season yesterday with the mother and brother. It's pretty cute! And Debra Messing voices one of the characters! I dont know why, but for some reason I'm really captivated by her role in The Wedding Date. I just loved her in it. Maybe it's because it's just one of my fav rom coms since it was out last year.. And also because she's gorgeous.. Hahah.

Alright I am so done here! Haha. (:
